The MD 530F is a small single-engine, light multipurpose utility helicopter that was designed and manufactured by Hughes Helicopters. The aircraft has been in production since 1975 and remains in use today for the military, law enforcement, search and rescue operations, as well as commercial uses such as aerial surveying and photography. It is one of the most common helicopters used by militaries throughout the world.
