The Airbus A380-900 is the latest and largest member of the Airbus A380 family. The aircraft has a range of 8,700 kilometers with 467 seats in five classes onboard. It was designed to be quieter than its predecessor and features an improved cabin design for better air quality, more legroom and larger windows.
The Airbus A380-900 features a significant increase in range and payload capacity over its predecessors, as well as an enlarged wing area to accommodate increased fuel loads. These improvements allow it to fly routes that were previously out of reach for other widebody jets.
The Airbus A380-900 was designed with future growth potential in mind, meaning that it can be adapted to meet requirements as they evolve through 2018 and beyond. It’s also able to operate on both standard and high-capacity runways, giving airports more flexibility when deciding how best to serve their passengers’ needs at any given time.
